Top representatives of the CNO, accompanied by Rosario Scarpato (itchefs-GVCI.com Managing Editor) and assisted by Delft-based Fabio Cappellano (senior associate to the network) launched in the Netherlands the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Traceability System that the Consortium has created and is currently implementing. The system, which includes a voluntary certification allowing the extra virgin olive oil to qualify as ‘High Quality’, was presented to selected guests at the Artusi Restaurant in Delft where a special dinner was prepared by Chef Marcel Dörr. Among the guests: qualified journalists as Janneke Vreugdenhill (www.etenenzo.nl) and Drees Koren; industry operators that included Aris Spada, Paul and Bianca Van der Steen (http://oremans.versvooru.nl); the chefs of Coco Pazzo (Utrecht), Zott (Nieuwegein), La Vita è Bella (Rotterdam) and the directors of Den Haag Hotel School.
